Ashton Court Mansion is now accepting bookings for private hire across five categories: weddings and ceremonies, film and TV productions, parties and celebrations, exhibitions and arts events, and corporate away days.
The mansion's restored spaces offer a venue unlike anything else in Bristol. The medieval Great Hall, with its original timber roof, can seat up to 150 guests for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The intimate Music Room, with its Georgian proportions and grand piano, is perfect for smaller ceremonies and private dinners.
"Every event at Ashton Court Mansion supports the restoration," said the trust's events manager. "Income from hire is reinvested directly into the building. When you celebrate here, you're helping save 600 years of Bristol's heritage."
The mansion has already attracted interest from film and television production companies, building on its history as a filming location for productions including Sherlock and Antiques Roadshow. Its Gothic interiors, period details, and six centuries of atmosphere make it one of the most versatile and atmospheric locations in the South West.
Hire packs for each category are available to download from the website, and all enquiries can be made through the online contact form or by emailing hire@ashtoncourtmansion.org.
