Run by the Friends of Ashton Court Mansion
Ashton Court Mansion opens its doors to the public through volunteer-led open days, organised by the Friends of Ashton Court Mansion (FAM). These are a wonderful opportunity to see the restored rooms, learn about the building's 600-year history, and hear about the restoration plans.
Open days are free to attend. All are welcome.

The mansion exterior is always viewable from the estate. Interior access is available on open days only.
In the historic stables
Set in the beautifully restored stables beside the mansion, the Courtyard Café offers refreshments, light lunches, and homemade cakes. Dog-friendly and family-welcoming.

The mansion is on the Ashton Court Estate, accessed via the main entrance on Kennel Lodge Road (off the A369). Free parking is available on the estate.
The nearest bus stops are on the A369 (Brunel Way / Rownham Hill). Services from Bristol city centre run regularly. It's a short walk from the estate entrance to the mansion.
Cycle access via the estate. Bike racks available near the mansion. The estate connects to Bristol's cycle network.
Ashton Court Mansion is a Grade I listed building undergoing restoration. We are committed to improving access as works progress.
